It was wonderful to meet Roisin Meaney at Kerry Women Writers Network recently. She gave a very informative talk on how to begin a story that grabs the reader's attention from the off. She also spoke about the writing process, employing agents and the whole publishing scene. To top it all she came with a copy of her latest novel to raffle amongst the group... and yours truly was the lucky winner... Claire!
