Rebecca Kemp

Rebecca Kemp was born in London and now lives in Co Kerry, Ireland. She has freelanced for magazines and websites before concentrating on creative writing. The outcome is a published novel In Pursuit (available on Amazon), longlisted for the 2013 MsLexia Novel of the Year, and she is currently working on another. She regularly enters short story competitions and recently won the 2013 Kerry’s Eye Short Story Competition and was a finalist in the 2014 Twitter Fiction Festival. She is co-founder and vice chair of the Kerry Women Writers Network. Rebecca has spent time in many different countries which influences her writing, as does living in the wild west of Ireland.

Writers on Tour

Hear the latest work from Kerry Women Writers as they perform at various venues around Kerry during July and August. The writers will be reading prose, poetry and memoir. Each writer will read for 5mins before it will be open to the floor when writers in the audience will be given 3mins to read from their work. For anyone wishing to hear new contemporary writing in a local setting, the tour promises to be an exciting introduction to new work.
