Originally from County Galway, Marian Pender now resides in
County Kerry and is a founder member of Scríobhnóirí Sliabh Luachra. Marian writes short stories, flash fiction
and the occasional poem, regularly enters competitions and recently won the
Purple Pumpkin Publishing short story prize.
Her extensive land and sea travels greatly influence her
work which can be seen in her upcoming book and anthologies. A trans-ocean sailor, curious cook and gardener,
Marian delights in the inspirational settings where she spends much time
writing.
