Claire O'Mahony

Claire O’Mahony is from Tralee, Co. Kerry. For a time she worked as a journalist in London and later in the construction industry there before returning home in 2005 and working in construction in her native Kerry. When the crash hit in 2008 she reverted to journalism and now teaches media skills to adults in Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. She has two blogs JournoJots http://journojots.blogspot.ie/ and another on SoundCloud which can be accessed via https://soundcloud.com/claireomahony/tracks  She writes poetry, prose and plays and looks after the blog for the Kerry Women's Writers Network.
